In the 1960s, Mr. Ben Williams bought out his partners and continued running the business independently. For many years, our office was located behind the post office in town, until we moved to our current location south of Bolivar in the early 1980s.
Mr. Williams’s son, Benny, began working at Dixie Gas as a teenager, learning the business from the ground up. In time, Benny’s own son and daughter stepped in to carry on the family legacy—and they continue to run the business to this day.
In 2005, a fire destroyed our building and all our records—but it didn’t destroy our determination. Dixie Gas pushed forward, and today the company remains proudly owned and operated by the Williams family.

We can fill cylinders of any size from 5 lbs up to 100 lbs. We can also fill RV's on site. We have a large parking lot with plenty of space to turn around in.
Someone is always available during business hours to fill cylinders and RV's.
We are closed on the weekends but if you have a special need, please contact us.
